The last few years have been an incredible experience for me and the young men in our football program. Our success on and off the field have been matched by very few high school football programs in Orange County. We are dedicated to working hard and maintaining the traditions of this proud football program. In the Roman Empire not just anyone could become a Centurion. You had to be chosen to be a Centurion. We are Centurions and we are the "uncommon" warriors.
Each year will bring some adjustments to our program. This season the Empire League will feature a few new teams. Yorba Linda, Tustin and Western are now a part of the newly realigned Empire League. We will be making some changes to both our offense and defense. We have made modification to our approach to take advantage of some of the unique talents of these young football players. Coach Martino has our team training hard in the weight room. Our off-season conditioning program will help us become a stronger and faster team. All of the coaches are very excited about the future of our program. The athletes in our program are great kids with outstanding work ethic. I am very proud to be associated with this group of young men.
Because of the exceptional parents and support groups in our community, we have made great progress in setting up our Centurion Football Booster Club. Financially, we are beginning to develop the resources we need to grow our program. The Booster Club continues to find creative and fun ways to raise money for our program. This year we will need your help to make our financial goals and we will need your volunteer hours to keep our program moving forward.
